MEET OUR LEADERSHIP
Dr. Bishop received his MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago in 1971. He has been active in emergency medicine at all levels since that time. He was one of the first ABEM certified emergency physicians and later served on the ABEM Board of Directors becoming President in 1993-94. He is a Fellow Emeritus of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and also served on the ACEP Board of Directors from 1995-2001. Dr. Bishop still serves on the ACEP Reimbursement Committee, as a Councilor, and as an alternate delegate to the AMA. He serves as well on the AMA Relative Value Scale Update Committee. Currently he is President/CEO of Dynamic Medical Practice Services/ Immediate Care Centers both part of the Franciscan Alliance. He also is the Manager of Kentuckiana Emergency Physicians, a group which staffs hospital ED’s in the greater Louisville, KY, area. He has started an off shore captive in Grand Cayman (Professional Liability Underwriting Services, SPC, Ltd.) and a risk retention group in Arizona (Medical Insurance Underwriters, RRG, Inc.). In 2011 both of those companies were rolled into EMPAC and Dr. Bishop now serves on the Board and as the Chairman of EMPAC. He is a Hoosier and lives in Bloomington, Indiana.
Mr. Williams received his finance and economics degree from Florida State University. He brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry with expertise in marketing, program management, reinsurance, underwriting, and loss projection. In 2000 Mr. Williams founded Risk Transfer Holdings, a Managing General Agency (MGA) for distressed lines of business. During his time with the company, he managed more than $240 million dollars of business insurance premiums. The company successfully made Insurance Journals “Top 100 Agencies in America” in its first 5 years of business.
Mr. Williams is the co-founder of EMPAC Risk Retention Group (RRG) and is CEO of EMPAC Managers, the attorney-in-fact managing the operations of the RRG. EMPAC is the only single specialty RRG that writes medical professional liability coverage for emergency room physicians.
Daryl dedicates his resources to improve the operations of nonprofit organizations. He currently serves on the board of directors for ECOLIFE Conservation. This charity is helping to balance global communities with sustainable solutions.
Mr. Rogers is CEO of Risk Services, the leading captive management firm in the United States. Mr. Rogers is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, an associate of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a member of the American Institute of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters and a licensed general and surplus lines insurance agent.
Mr. Rogers brings over thirty years experience, including 24 years in the captive management business, ten years with major accounting firms in Bermuda, Canada and Great Britain, and prior service as an insurance regulator. Mr. Rogers is an expert in the structuring of risk management and insurance programs, and has extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of risk financing and the operation of alternative and traditional insurance programs.
Dr. Greene is a member of American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM), American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT) and American College of Occupational & Environmental Medicine (ACOEM). Dr. Greene is Operations Director for Cape Coral Emergency Physicians in Florida. His prior experience includes corporate web-based documentation applications for Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Greene received his Medical Degree from University of Medicine & Dentistry New Jersey and completed his residency at Rutgers Residency Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Greene received his MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Dr. Sussman is a board certified Urologist, licensed and practicing in the state of Nevada since 1991. He received his MD degree from the University of Miami.
He completed a Urology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He was recertified by the American Board of Urology in 2012.
Dr. Sussman is a member of the Clark County Medical Society and the Nevada State Medical Association. He is the Nevada state representative to the American Association of Clinical Urologists.
